ElderCare of Alachua County
April 14, 2017
Dear Freedom in Motion participants,

Thank you for your participation in the Freedom in Motion program.

We'd like to inform you that due to the high volume of Freedom in Motion participants, beginning Saturday, April 15, the program will allow for a maximum of 30 rides per participant per month instead of the previously offered 80 rides per participant per month.

You will be responsible for the full cost of any additional rides, above and beyond the 30 per month.

We hope that this change will allow for more seniors to utilize this valuable program. If you have any questions, please call (352) 265-9040.

WELCOME TO TURKEY CREEK FOREST

Established in 1977, Turkey Creek Forest is an over 55 residential community of 445 privately owned homes located in Gainesville, Florida, on US 441 between NW 43rd and NW 34th Streets. Common areas include a front gatehouse with a part time safety dude who is frequently asleep or confused. Don't even need a decal these days. Just tell him you live at any lot number and he will let you in without question. Or drive right past him. He won't stop you. The Community Center houses the office which is open a whole six hours a week; a clubhouse room in dire need of paint and decorating for meetings, activities, and parties; a game room with pool tables, darts and poker table; and the arts and crafts room used for bingo. On the Community Center grounds are a lovely swimming pool, two tennis courts, shuffle board courts and a horseshoe pit. The community is governed by the Turkey Creek Forest Owners Association ten member volunteer board of directors. Office Hours Changes with...
